How to save cases and recall them in a new version of RadarOpus

Exporting cases to recuperate them in a new version of RadarOpus

If you have saved cases in the Beta RadarOpus and want to keep them in the Final RadarOpus, then please read the following instructions.  Note that you will have to do this for each analysis as it is not yet possible to Import/Export more than one file at a time.  This function will be available in a future version.

  • In the RadarOpus menu, click on Analysis, Recall an existing analysis and recall the case you want to save.
  • In the RadarOpus menu, click on Analysis again and select Save current analysis
  • Click on save and import analysis in another format. The type of format to specify is XML.
  • Type a name for your analysis.
  • Click on Change folder and save your analysis in a folder outside of the RadarOpus folder, as this folder will be deleted when you install the new version.  For example you could save your analysis in My documents or on your desktop.
  • To recuperate your analysis once the new version of RadarOpus has been installed, in the RadarOpus window click on Analysis, Recall an existing analysis.
  • Click on Import an analysis from another program
  • Specify the type of file is xml
  • Click on Browse to locate your file (eg in My documents or on the desktop) and click on Open
  • Click on Recall
