How to Bypass Install Parameters

Only tech support can decide whether or not these parameters can be over-ridden

"NoCheckSize" will overide the parameter that checks available hard disk space and blocks installation if under 30 Gb. Important: only to be used if the databases are much smaller than the current vdi (12 Gb) or if there is just a little under 30 Gb free space on the hard disk.

Windows (where "E" is the DVD drive)

E:\RadarOpus-windows-installer.exe --nochecksize yes

Mac

/Volumes/RadarOpus/RadarOpus-osx-installer.app/Contents/MacOS/installbuilder.sh --nochecksize yes

"NoCheckFormat" will overide the parameter that checks the format of the hard disk. Important: only to be used if the drive is not in the NTFS format or if the installer does not detect the disk format correctly. RadarOpus cannot be installed on FAT partitions because they cannot store files bigger than 4.4 Gb.

Windows (where "E" is the DVD drive)

E:\RadarOpus-windows-installer.exe --nocheckformat yes

Mac

/Volumes/RadarOpus/RadarOpus-osx-installer.app/Contents/MacOS/installbuilder.sh --nocheckformat yes

"InstallNetwork" is a parameter that can be used to install a network version of RadarOpus. It will display a window where you can choose to install the client or the server version. Important: specific configurations such as opening ports must be done separately

Windows (where "E" is the DVD drive)

E:\RadarOpus-windows-installer.exe --installNetwork yes

Mac

/Volumes/RadarOpus/RadarOpus-osx-installer.app/Contents/MacOS/installbuilder.sh --installNetwork yes

It is also possible to combine parameters, for example:

E:\RadarOpus-windows-installer.exe --nochecksize yes --nocheckformat yes
